McGuire’s was founded out of a passion for delicious food, great drinks, and good times. Our goal is to give our community a place to come together, kick back, and have some fun.

Meet the Owners!

Ken and Julie McGuire are long-time locals and supporters of Placer County’s local businesses. Ken and Julie first entered the restaurant business in 2022 when they acquired the Tin Lantern Bar & Grill in Meadow Vista from the prior owners who were retiring. By taking responsibility for the beloved local dining establishment, the pair developed a greater appreciation for the restaurant business. In 2024, Ken and Julie founded McGuire’s Sports Bar and Grill, intending to give Auburn’s sports fans a place to gather for game night and contribute to Auburn’s growing nightlife scene.
